Rally Camp at Boshart Stables

2009 D Camp Information


We are looking forward to Camp at Boshart Stables. Camp will be June 10th Wednesday thru June 12th Friday.

The horses will stay at camp each night. The clubbers will go home. Please plan to arrive by 8am each day. Camp ends around 4:30pm. Times may change slightly.

Attire for camp includes riding pants, polo shirt with Pony Club pin, proper helmet and boots. You may wear shorts in the barn with boots. Half chaps will be allowed.

Everyday please bring your lunch with lots of drinks in a cooler.

List of equipment for camp: (please label everything with your name)

1 stall card
2 water buckets with double ended snaps
1 small bucket
1 sweat scraper
2 sponges
1 fly spray
1 hoof pick
1 mane brush/comb
1 curry comb
1 body brush
1 dandy brush
1 halter
2 lead ropes (1 with chain)
grain in labeled paper bags w Pony name, day, am/pm
hay
1 muck bucket
1 rake / shavings fork
1 saddle, girth, pad
1 bridle
1 saddle rack
1 pair horse jumping boots if used
sunscreen / bug spray for yourself
anything else your horse needs on a daily basis

D manual (Upper D’s bring C manual and Horse Record book as well)
D3’s: Bring your stuff for bandaging. You will need bandages and padding for stable wraps and shipping wraps. .
